This weekend there is a Hot Air Ballon Rally being held in Alamogordo and White Sands. Balloons launched early this morning, but there is a Balloon Glow tonight at the Balloon Park in Alamogordo.  The Glow is scheduled to take place a little after sunset. The Ballon park is off of highway 70 on Lavelle road.

If anyone is up for a quick trip, please join us. MINI or not. The balloon Glow is great site to share with the family. Just bring some jackets, maybe some lawn chairs, etc.

Meetup starting at 4:30, Depart at 5 PM!

We will meet at the McDonalds/Western Refinery Gas Station located on the  far Northeast part of town. The address is 11390 Gateway N Ste B El Paso, TX 79934.  Its off  US 54 Near McCombs.  If you want to fuel up and grab a snack, get there earlier! We will leave at 5 pm sharp

Route

The route is pretty straight forward. We’ll take 54 to Alamogordo.  Then we’ll have to kinda wing it from there. We will be looking for Lavelle Rd.  I’m sure once there, it should be pretty obvious (I hope)

Sorry for the impromptu part of the route, just can’t get a good solid address for the Ballon Park. The “Facebook” page for this event is somewhat vague on the details. But heres a general map of the area. Hope you all can make it!
