MINI Rallies are open to all MINI and Classic Mini Owners!

Winter is in full force  and the upper elevations in Ruidoso NM have received lots of snow this season. We plan on venturing up to Ski Apache and the the area around it for some snow play!  If you ski/snowboard, a group will be heading up to the Ski Resort.  Another group will be hitting the tubing park that is on the road to Ski Apache. 

Itinerary

Morning Meet Up. We will meet up at 9:00am at the Chevron/ Mc Donalds on the corner of US/54 and McCombs. We will depart on our adventure at 9:45 am.

1st Re-Group Location
We re-group at the Texaco in Alamagordo NM. We should arrive at about 11:00 am and depart to our next re-group location at 11:15am.

2nd Re-Group Location
Since we are driving through traffic lights there is a good possibility we will get split up, so we re-group again before heading to Ruidoso NM at the Travel Truck stop in Tularosa NM. This will be a quick re-group hopefully no more than 10min. of course we will wait if restrooms are needed.

3rd Re-Group Location
We will re-group once more before our final destination, and before the most exciting part of our drive, at the All Sups at the end of Suddereth Drive in Ruidoso NM.
This will be a 15min stop to briefly go over our final destination to Ski Apache. YAY!

Some other info:
If you plan on tubing, bring some cash for rentals and what not. Also note!!! Sometimes Tubing isn’t running for various reasons, and we won’t know until we get there!

There is a tubing slope at Ski Apache that has limited open times due to various conditions.  There is also a Tubing park on the way up to Ski Apache.

Pricing for Tubing at Ski Apache:
Children (5-7) – $7.00 – with $33 lift ticket its $4.00
Juniors (8-17 yrs.) – $15.00 – with $44 lift ticket its $11.00
Adults (18 & up) – $19.00 – with $55 lift ticket its $12.00

The tubing park that operates independently of Ski Apache has different pricing and rules.

You can pick either place, but bring cash to cover your tube rentals. No outside sleds, tubes, etc are allowed at either location.
