⁃ Meet Up: Starbucks at the Outlet Mall
⁃ Time: 8:30am
⁃ Depart: 9:32am to McDonald’s on Avenida de Mesllia in L.C.
⁃ Arrive Time in L.C.: 10:33am-10:44am
⁃ Depart L.C. to Aguirre Springs: 11:01am-11:09am
⁃ Arrive To Aguirre Springs: 11:43am-11:58am
Summary
We will meet on Sunday morning June 8th for our picnic rally to Aguirre Springs National Park. Our meeting point to start the rally will be at the Starbucks at the Outlet Mall, 7051 S Desert Blvd. El Paso TX 79932, at 8:30am. We will depart from Starbucks at 9:32am, head to our next meet point in Las Cruces NM and gather our fellow EPMINI minions, via Highway 28. Our meeting point in L.C. will be at the McDonald’s on the corner of Avenida de Mesilla and Hickory Dr. (1150 Hickory Dr. Las Cruces NM 88005). I expect to arrive in L.C. at about 10:33am-10:44am and we will depart after re-grouping at 11:01am-11:09am. We will drive on 2 wheels down I-10 east till we boomerang onto I-25 north. The I-25 north will connect us to Highway 70 where we will head east into the Oregon Mountains and to our final destination Aguirre Springs National Park. Expected arrival time is about 11:43am- 11:58am. The cost to enter Aguirre Springs is $5.00 per vehicle **CASH ONLY**. Once in the park we can try and find an area that would accommodate us although it’s not guaranteed. There should be enough parking though for all of us in case we do need to separate. Last year we had a pot luck cookout for this rally so this year I thought we would change it up and have a picnic so be sure to bring some delicious sandwiches and enjoy some hiking if you wish.
